API and webhooks

Pay from your own systems

Create recipients, payouts and batches through the API, follow them with signed webhooks, and catch up on anything you missed from the events feed.

The Vusha API reference: base URL, authentication, scopes and idempotency.

What it does

  • Scoped API keys

Keys per organisation with read or write scopes, shown once, stored hashed and revocable at any time.

  • Idempotency keys

Every request that moves money carries an Idempotency-Key. A retry returns the first answer and never pays twice.

  • Signed webhooks

Payout, batch and deposit events, signed with HMAC-SHA256 and retried for about a day.

  • Events feed

Read every event in order from the API, to recover after downtime.

How it works

  1. 01

    Create a key

An owner or admin creates a key with the scopes you need.

  2. 02

    Send requests

Create recipients and payouts, each with an idempotency key.

  3. 03

    Listen for events

Verify each webhook's signature and update your records.
